OUR STORY

Koua-Studio was born in early 2021 during the lock-down in London after realising that everything that was happening was a call to action for a climate change. It was a time of human unity, more than ever. This project main purpose is to provide solutions to the fashion and interior design industry to become greener and promote more transparency in their production process but at the same time to give economic opportunities to indigenous people in local towns in Mexico to contribute to the preservation of traditional techniques and cultural traditions that have been passed from many generations.

I want to make an impact on my people’s life, the artisans. Specially on women who are socially more in disadvantage. At the same time I want to contribute to slow down the fast fashion wave connecting designers with a beautiful and transparent production process, encouraging them to use our textiles for their collections. This is the mark I want to leave in the world.
